These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SolmOne, a technology by Solm Systems Ltd. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

The platform is designed for personal observation and self-reflection. It is not a medical device, not a clinical tool, and not a substitute for professional advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use SolmOne. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 16 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

3. Account Registration

To use SolmOne, you must provide a valid email address. Each account is assigned a unique Field ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password and access credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@solmsystems.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You retain ownership of all content you submit to SolmOne, including journal entries, biology entries, notes, and images.

By using the service, you grant Solm Systems Ltd a limited licence to process your content for the following purposes:

Aggregate participation is part of using SolmOne and is described in our Privacy Policy. Deeper research participation is opt-in and can be adjusted from your account settings at any time.

You can delete individual entries or your entire account at any time. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Data Rights page.

6. Reflections, Scores, and Reference Information

Reflections, clarity scores, matrix readings, Kairo responses, reference values, and any other outputs generated by SolmOne are provided for personal observation and self-reflection only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to:

Reference values shown in the app, such as international guideline ranges for nutrients, are provided for informational and comparative purposes only. They are not personalised targets and do not replace clinical guidance from your healthcare provider.

7. Regulatory Positioning

SolmOne is a wellness and self-observation platform. It is not a medical device under the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 or the EU Medical Device Regulation. It does not detect, diagnose, screen for, treat, prevent, or cure any condition.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep SolmOne available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.

9. Pricing and Payment

SolmOne is currently free to use during early access. We may introduce paid tiers or subscriptions in the future. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice before any charges apply, and you will have the option to continue with the free tier where one exists or to cancel your account before any payment is taken.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen within the app. This will permanently remove your individual data, with the exception of anonymised aggregate data already pooled into research analyses, which cannot be retroactively removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.

11. Intellectual Property

The SolmOne platform, including its design, code, framework, written content, and visual assets, is owned by Solm Systems Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the service.

12. Limitation of Liability

SolmOne is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by UK consumer law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solm Systems Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by UK law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Solm Systems Ltd harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Substantive changes will be communicated to active users by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where UK consumer law provides otherwise.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
