What Data We Hold

SolmOne stores the following data linked to your account:

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is held primarily so SolmOne can read your patterns back to you and so you can return to your own record over time.

Anonymised aggregate patterns from across all users also contribute to platform improvement and to SOLM Systems' research programme. By aggregate we mean pooled patterns across thousands of users, with identifying information removed. Your name, email, postcode, and account identity are never shared with researchers or third parties. Your individual entries are not read by humans for research purposes.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers, insurers, or other third parties.

Research Participation

The foundational aggregate pattern contribution described above is part of using SolmOne. Deeper research participation — for example, contributing de-identified biology records or participating in specific research studies — is opt-in only and can be adjusted at any time from your Account settings.

What We Are Building Toward

SolmOne is an early-stage product. Our data architecture today is appropriate for early-stage use. As we grow, we will invest in stronger technical privacy, including on-device processing of your entries so that text-level data does not need to leave your phone, separated data architectures, and additional safeguards. We will update this page when those protections come into place.

Delete Individual Entries

You can delete individual entries at any time from the Log tab in the app. Deleting an entry permanently removes the entry text, any attached images, associated reflections, and recurrence data linked to that entry.

Delete Your Entire Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Account screen in the app. This action:

To delete your account:

Open SolmOne, tap your avatar (top right of home screen), scroll down, tap Delete Account.

Anonymised aggregate data already pooled into research analyses cannot be retroactively removed, as it has been merged into population-level statistics and is no longer linked to your individual record.

Request Data Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, you can email us:

Include the email address associated with your account. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Data Portability

You have the right to request a copy of your data. Contact us at the email above and we will provide an export of your entries, reflections, biology data when this layer is live, and clarity history in a standard machine-readable format.

Third-Party Data Processing

Entry text sent to the Anthropic API for reflection generation is subject to Anthropic's data handling policies. We do not retain copies of API responses beyond what is stored as your reflections.

We use standard secure cloud infrastructure for hosting and storage. No other third parties receive your data.
